NXT Direct: Clients are entitled to a full refund in the event of a cancellation of a NXT Direct tutoring session, provided that notice of cancellation is received no less than 1 hour before the scheduled commencement time. This provision allows for efficient rescheduling and resource allocation by NXT Tutoring.
1.2. NXT Online+: For NXT Online+ sessions, clients may receive a full refund if the cancellation is made at least 30 minutes prior to the scheduled start time. This reduced notice period recognises the lack of travel and technical nuances associated with online sessions.
2. Cancellation Fee
2.1. Breach of Cancellation Policy: Failure to adhere to the cancellation policy outlined above for NXT Direct and NXT Online+ sessions shall result in the imposition of a 50% cancellation fee. This fee compensates NXT Tutoring for administrative costs and lost opportunities arising from the late cancellation.
3. Refund Process
3.1. Initiating a Refund Request: Clients seeking a refund must promptly notify NXT Tutoring’s support team at contact@nxttutoring.com.au, providing comprehensive details, including the client’s name, session particulars, and the rationale for the refund request. Additional documentation or evidence may be requested to facilitate the processing of the request. Refunds are processed on a case-by-case basis.
3.2. Refund Processing Time: Upon receipt of a valid refund request, NXT Tutoring will diligently process the refund within the same business day. The duration for the refund to reflect in the client’s account may vary depending on the payment method and the policies of the financial institution.
4. Exceptions
4.1. Technical Malfunctions: In the event of an interruption or failure to conduct a tutoring session due to technical issues attributable to NXT Tutoring’s infrastructure or systems, clients will be entitled to a full refund. NXT Tutoring endeavours to maintain robust technical capabilities but acknowledges occasional unforeseen disruptions.
4.2. Tutor Non-Appearance: Should a tutor fail to attend a scheduled session without prior notification, clients will be entitled to a full refund. NXT Tutoring holds its tutors to the highest standards of professionalism and reliability, and instances of non-appearance are dealt with sternly.
